Stea vs Arcade
They make beautiful recordings fast. A recording cannot answer a question.
What Arcade says it does
Arcade captures your product through a browser extension or desktop app — or turns a Figma file into a demo — and uses AI to produce on-brand videos, visuals and demos, averaging about six minutes per video. “No designers. No agencies. No waiting.”
Read on 1 October 2026 from their own site. Where they do not state a behaviour, the table below says so rather than scoring it against them.
What Arcade is good at
- Polish: on-brand product video without a designer, in minutes.
- Output you can put anywhere — video, GIF, embed, link — including places a live agent cannot go.
- Figma in, demo out, before the feature even ships.
What is different about Stea
Different jobs, not competing ones
This is the one comparison on the list where we would mostly tell you to buy both. A six-minute branded video belongs at the top of the funnel and on a launch page. It is not trying to answer a CFO asking how a multi-country close reconciles, and it does not claim to.
Where the overlap actually is
The overlap is the moment someone says “can I see it?”. If the answer is a recording, the people with questions still end up on a call — which is the hour you were trying to protect.
Side by side
When Arcade is the better buy
If what you need is in the list above, buy that. We take a week to set up, charge a fixed fee to write the actions for your product, and then charge per demo that answered someone — which is a bad trade if you wanted something publishable this afternoon, and a good one if more people ask to see your product than your team has hours to show it.
